Inside the colored canyon in Sinai while the light and shadows danced to a silent melody In a timeless moment.
In a place where wind dominates the shape of the landscape, magic and beauty are the main elements of SIWA's main attraction formula. The third-largest sand accumulation in the world (a sand dune the size of England) spans more than 600 km forming a natural barrier between Libya and Egypt.

‘The White House’ area is an enclosure of rocks surrounded by gleaming white chalk fields and nearby, a narrow entrance to a deep cave penetrates the rock.
The best part about being in the White desert is seeing boulders crowd together, high and large weird shapes appear Every where .. is that a chicken or a hawk? a troupe of dancers or an old men wearing a hat? The shapes change constantly as the light changes and as you move around them and as the sun begins to set they turn a softly glowing pink. It's all about your imagination, So imagine!
The first stab of love is like a sunset, a blaze of color.. Oranges, Pearly pink, vibrant purple.
Sometimes when i look up to the skies, i can feel the skies looking down at me, At times with patience, at others.. with fire! This was an unplanned shot while hurling in the jeep trying to catch up with sunset at the 'Colored Canyon'. I asked the driver to wait for a minute. And i'm glad i Did ask.
From time to time, i like to break the silly 'Holy rules' of photography and shoot right into the sun. When i look back at the shot, i always remember how it felt standing there.. I hope you can feel it too.
Taken on my first ever visit to that spiritual comforting place.. The beauty of the wavy lines captured me. Sandstone carved by wind and torrents. shaped by divine circumstances.
Eight vertical images stitched for a wild wide panorama shot.
As the sun sets, it kisses the land with a faint warmness. The land is a contrast of colours and shapes. Sometimes clear serene skies and other times extremely dramatic. That's mother nature.
In the ‘New Desert’ area which is only accessible by 4WD or camel, the landscape becomes even whiter. Mingled with the golden yellow sands of the desert the place is transformed into a silent fairy tale. A place where you can hear your self thinking.
